MKK Sports has access to many technical fabrics currently available on the market today. However we have selected a range of core materials which we incorporate in the manufacture of numerous garments because of their technical and practical properties. These include:
Breathable Poly Tricot
Keeps moisture away from the skin in order to ensure maximum comfort and performance. Garments manufactured from these fabrics feature new generation multi yarn sports micro-fibres with superior moisture management technology.
An efficient cooling system means less work, better temperature regulation and hence more energy during those long periods in the field. Sports where this fabric is utilised include: Cricket, Rugby, Hockey, Netball and Tennis (Racquets).

Microfibre with optional PU or PVC membrane
Allows us to produce garments that will remain lightweight and breathable whilst offering the wearer a shower/waterproof option. By combining this fabric with others from our range we are able to ensure that the wearer stays warm and well protected from the elements. These fabric variations tend to lend themselves to over-garments such as tracksuits, showerproof suits, waterproof suits.

Microfleece
Is used in a number of combinations with other fabrics either as a comfortable option in its own right or together with other MKK fabrics to create a bespoke garment with its own unique properties. Can be used as a fabric for fleece jackets or as a lining in over-garments throughout the Team-wear collection.

Poly-mesh
'Air Conditioning' for garments. Is used in combination with other fabrics to offer a total body thermostat solution ensuring the body remains at the correct temperature for maximum performance. This fabric is used throughout the technical performance range of playing-wear including Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Tennis (Racquet sports).

Cotton Pique
The classic Polo shirt fabric but it is so much more than this. It again can be used in combination with other fabrics to create the right solution for your garment. It is also available in many different weight options thereby offering a selection of qualities and properties. Typically used as a stock teamwear garment.

CVC Cotton
Typically used for teamwear garments where the emphasis is on comfort and warmth, it is ideal as a sweatshirt or as a lining for an over-garment.

Lycra (by DuPont)
The stretch and recovery properties of Lycra® provide fabrics and garments with comfort, fit and freedom of movement proving perfect for those sports where a combination of breathability and a tight fit is necessary.

Microfibre Piping
Used to bespoke all garments. MKK can pantone reference the piping applied to garment designs to ensure that the corporate identity is represented throughout the range.

Scotchgard® Treatment (by 3M)
Applied as an invisible treatment to any MKK fabric
Scotchgard® ensures garments remain looking better for longer. In sporting applications it repels water and grass-stains allowing for easier washing and ironing time after time.
