Eastbourne College was formed in Eastbourne in 1867 and has since grown to over 500 pupils and 60 staff. Located on the south-coast of England it regularly travels to fixtures all over the south-east and, in recent years, has produced some excellent sports men and women including Will Green (Wasps RFC and England) and Ed Giddins (Sussex CCC and England).
Brief
Understandably the College remains very proud of its history and a significant part of their heritage lies in the school colours, colours which have been gracing the College sports ground’s for the past 140 years. It was with this historical back-drop that Eastbourne College jumped at MKK’s proposal to translate the school colours into a collection of technical sporting apparel worthy of their rich traditions.
Outcome
MKK Sports have been supplying Eastbourne College with sports clothing since 2004, the design of which draws upon the College colours of Navy Blue, Red and Royal Blue.
Customer Comments
Martin Hughes (Deputy College Bursar)
“To deal with a professional company like MKK has been a pleasure, the quality of their garments is excellent and our order arrived in plenty of time. The selected range is ours for as long as we need it, unlike previous teamwear suppliers where we have been forced to change kit due to the fact that the design was dropped from their range, they MKK hold stock of our range so that after the initial order we have been able to draw it down in small quantities. To cap it all their prices are extremely competitive and we are actually saving money."
