POLYGIENE AND MKK JOIN FORCES
Players from Sussex CCC are testing a pioneering anti-microbial odour control treatment during their Pro 40 season this summer. This season's Pro 40 shirts have been treated with Polygiene and will be worn by the Sussex players throughout the 2008 campaign.
MKK Sports is the official teamwear supplier to Sussex CCC and Middlesex CCC and to be able to test the product in the professional arena is a significant bonus, as Director Roger Myall explains: “We are very fortunate that the Sussex squad has allowed us to test this new and revolutionary technology. Once the testing is complete we will add Polygiene to selected MKK garments and will be able to offer our clients high quality teamwear, which will remain odour free even in the warmest conditions.”
Since its conception in 1999, Polygiene has become an established and a worldwide supplier of anti microbial solutions. MKK are looking forward to creating a long and fruitful relationship with the Scandinavian company as MKK Director and Sussex cricketer James Kirtley highlights: “We are excited about starting a new relationship with Polygiene. To be able to wear a shirt all day long and stay smelling fresh is surely a big plus in both professional and amateur sports.”
Polygiene is based in Sweden and its International Account Director, Pär Gottfridsson also
echoes Kirtley’s sentiments: “We are looking forward to working with a new UK distributor. MKK have shown a great interest and understanding in Polygiene and in their business, it is going to help them stand out and give them an edge in a competitive market.” Sports clubs, professional teams, corporate clients and schools will all benefit from the MKK Polygiene products, which will be available to purchase direct from MKK and selected retailers from September 2008.
