MIDDLESEX CCC LIFT SILVERWARE FOR FIRST TIME IN FIFTEEN YEARS
The agonising Twenty20 final last Saturday, which saw the Crusaders lift their first cup in fifteen years, will live long in the memory of Middlesex cricket fans. The performance by the side was as stunning as the pink shirts supplied by MKK Sports, their official clothing supplier.
It is well known that the pink shirts reflect the Middlesex support for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer campaign. However, less well known, is the fact that Sussex and England bowler James Kirtley is responsible for supplying the shirts to the Middlesex team.
James is the man behind MKK, one of the fastest growing bespoke team wear suppliers in the UK. James said: “The match on Saturday night was a fantastic advert for cricket in this country.
MKK are thrilled to be associated with Middlesex’s victory and to see our high quality garments being tested during the club’s demanding campaign this season. It will be fantastic to see the players wearing our teamwear on the global stage when Middlesex take part in both the Champions League and Stanford Series later on this year.”
Middlesex CCC signed a three year deal with the Sussex based bespoke teamwear company last November and their impressive victory has paved the way for a successful partnership in the years to come.
