FINDON CC SECURE PLACE IN NATIONAL VILLAGE CUP FINAL
Findon Cricket Club are one step closer to victory in the nPower Village Cup after beating Oxford Downs by a comfortable 50 run margin in last weekends semi-final. The 140 year old club appeared on SkySports during their quarter final battle with Rowledge and the team are now hoping to triumph in the final at Lord's next month. This is the first time the club has appeared in the final despite 2007 being the third time in five years that they have fought their way to the semi finals.
Technical teamwear specialists, MKK Sports supply the club with kit and they are looking forward to continuing their affiliation next season. "MKK sports are proud to be associated with Findon CC and wish them all the best in their quest to bring another high profile cricketing trophy to Sussex," said Roger Myall, Managing Director. Findon will play North Yorkshire side, Woodhouse Grange in the final on the 9th September.
