DOUBLE WINNERS SUSSEX RENEW PARTNERSHIP WITH MKK SPORTS

Sussex County Cricket Club (SCCC) have reappointed MKK Sports, the sports clothing manufacturer owned by Sussex cricketer James Kirtley and his business partners, as the official clothing supplier to Sussex County Cricket Club (SCCC) for the next two seasons (2007-2008).

The contract win represents a significant investment for MKK, who were appointed not only for their outstanding clothing but because their business aims towards schools, local cricket clubs and higher education establishments coincide with the targeting of these establishments by SCCC who have a dedicated programme to further cricket coaching and awareness at these levels within Sussex.

Kirtley, who was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance at Lords in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Final in August 2006 said, "As a player, I genuinely understand the needs of players and how cricket clothing affects your game. MKK are delighted to be involved with Sussex for the next two seasons. SCCC are our flagship client and have provided us with a base from which we can further develop our business. We look forward to strengthening this important partnership in the next two years.'

The MKK Sports range for SCCC encompasses the four key playing shirts plus a range of teamwear ranging from tracksuits, trousers and technical sweaters to fleeces, sweatshirts and shorts all of which will be retailed in both the SCCC shop and on-line via the Club website. The fabrics used by MKK sports have attracted particular attention as Kirtley feels passionately about the comfort of players during matches.

Chief Executive of SCCC, Gus Mackay said of the deal, "We are very pleased to appoint MKK Sports as official clothing suppliers to the club. MKK is a young and developing company that not only delivers a great product, on time, but understands the importance of a quality offering to schools, local cricket clubs and high education colleges, all of which are vital to the continuous development of cricket within Sussex."
